When I look at what I eat it is a terrible diet. I have been to see a dietician and their recommendation was cut out all starchy food like bread, potatoes, pasta etc and eat things like lettuce, cucumber and green salAd vegetables not of which I have ever eaten. With my dinner I have at least 2 of the following cabbage, sprouts, carrots, pumpkin and 1 potato or small service rice. I need to cut out the bread/wrap at lunch and just have vegetables. Going to have a egg at breakfast with some toast. I have takeaway once a week with my grandchildren and try to have something healthy which sometimes includes a few chips. No other snacks are eaten by me.
Can someone recommend a good book or website on healthy eating as that's what I need to do
