Excellent result for you Vicki, about time something went right for you. Just Friday to go equally well for you now

Fingers crossed.
At gp tomorrow for pulse and blood pressure monitoring and blood test results, in full. Might have a chat about reoccuring or unresolved infection too.
Shame my brain has to go along. It would be much easier to just drop my body off for tests and leave it with them. Ha ha

That is brilliant news @ickihun . How long is the waiting list for the Bariatric Surgery? = Hope it's not long Vicky.
Hope tomorrow at GP's is just as productive as today was. Wx

Hi William ,
How nice to have Florence all to yourself whilst father and daughter sorted the food for buffet. Hope the christening goes smoothly and you all have a lovely day, give my best to the proud grandfather.LOL Kathleen

And got Florence tomorrow afternoon for 2 hours, so think as it is going to be a Sunny Day I will take her out in the pram for a walk, whilst R and Daughter tidy up the Bungalow (and hide all the 'tat' in cupboards) .

Great HbA1c Vicky - well done!

At least 1 year but hoping to have lost some (loads) by then. Changed my insulin? I was a bit surprised but pleased. Novarapid reminds me of my first pregnancy, brilliant times. Enjoy Florence

@ickihun - Vicky, forgot to say Well Done on your HBA1C of 59.
Good grief the waiting list is a Year!!!! for Bariatric Surgery.
So, is the GP going to take you off the Metformin today? We await your return to from the GP.

GP wanted to see me to praise me for hba1c from 69 in January to 59 last week. He's delighted and said he'll wait for endocrologist's letter before changing my insulin over.
Yes endocrologist will write to bariatric team and I get put on waiting list. Then I get counselling to get me ready for op and minsdset of ice cube worth of food at first. Months later you can eat more but not much more. I believe ultimately an egg size worth to fill the new stomach.
They check for malnutrition along the way.
I think insulin change is in preparation too. If i dont eat I dont have to take fast acting. Tresiba covers creeping up bgs from liver dumps etc. so I shouldnt have high bgs throughout.
Started reduced thyroxine today
I'd love to get rid of blood pressure tablets!!

Still on just 2 metformin daily @Liam1955 . Tummy doesnt like 4. Swollen water tummy weighing me more by about 6lb. But have still lost weight discluding 6lb disadvantage
Looking forward to weigh-in tomorrow. Will have to be late afternoon thou.
I wonder what cardologist is going to say?

Have to have an invasive angiogram in the next 6 weeks.
We don't know much more til then. God help me when I get chest pain not just heaviness again. I really don't know what to do with myself!
So still no better off.
I guess I should be thankful 2 good appointments out of 3 wasn't bad.
Oh new insulin regime needs bedding in before hand too. Argh!!!
They'll be lucky if bgs are good in time! I'll give it my best shot. Literally.

Poor You Vicky. Life is so tough for you.

Evening everyone , just to let you know that Ron is having a bad time of it lately. I thought this Afternoon I was going to have to ring for paramedics. He got so short of breath that even with the angina spray it took it out of him. Completely drained him of energy. He then slept for 3 hours . He's not to bad now , breathing a little heavy but making sure he's not getting to tired. Hope your all well . X

Oh bless him. Send him our thoughts and best wishes. Do you know what triggered it off?

When he tries to do to much. He can't walk to far as he gets out of breath and tired . He then came home and started to put a flat packed chest of draws together and thats when it all happened . Yet DWP reckon he is fit for work. Drs and specialist think otherwise.

Tell him off from me.
I pushed myself today too. I had no choice. Hence I have no groceries in as I was ill just from appointments and picking up a few nick nacks in town. I thought I was going to pass out. I sat through most of it. I don't know how I managed to get home. I was shuffling along and dizzy, palpatations and panting as if I was in labour. I must have sweated 2ltrs. If I don't lose weight this week, I'll eat my hat!

@tina_marie sending best wishes hope Ron Gets well soon. While back I had to use the angina spray but stopped using when I ran out but luckily have been pretty ok since, hopefully ron will improve soon. Take care of yourselfs. X
