CAFO beef is an excellent source of fat.And for those in the USA, toxic fat from meat fattened in CAFO (concentrated animal feed operations) where the cattle are pump with antibiotics, hormones, steroids and fed on corn grain. Here in the UK, we don't seem to have this level of intensive beef husbandry, just the campylobacter in the entire chicken stock.

Not sure there's anything in there I want to eatSaturated fats are bad to me, and corned beef is imported, and full of stuff that is pumped into the animals.
Non saturated fats are preferable.
Watch pork scratchings, first one I googled.
Ingredients:

Contains: Gluten, Wheat, Soya\Soybeans
CAFO beef is an excellent source of fat.
NoCrbs4Me, I didn't realise. Have read several books and watched some really credible Profs who literally described the fat from CAFO as toxic, due to all the stuff they are pumped with. They describe the fat as white as the telltale test when healthy meat fat should be creamy yellow. Anyway, you sound like you know so I appreciate your response.

Kevin I prefer 100% grass fed when available. I also prefer ground as opposed to steaks as the steaks are generally too lean and flavorless. Grass fed fat is also much more watery than CAFO fat. I only eat a few ounces at time so it's very affordable. A meal of GF beef is cheaper for me than a regular black coffee at a coffee house.NoCrbs4Me, I didn't realise. Have you tried the Real Pork Crackling company ones too? I get them from Sainsburys.. they are I find a bit more flavoursome than the awful posh (although I love those too). The ones I have are in a black bag. Time for a scratching review?Pork scratching? I say go for it .... if you are not careful you can become obsessed with what you eat, my diet is 100% better than before diagnosis - if the only bad thing I eat is in a bag of pork scratchings I can live with it.
The Awfully Posh range are very nice - http://www.awfullyposhsnacks.com/pork-crackling-products/anglesey-sea-salt-pork-crackling/ - Ingredients: Pork Rind, Anglesey Sea Salt (nothing bad?) ... and I've just discovered they do a Chilli flavour
Pork scratchings are fine for those with strong teeth, and my goodness, you do need strong teeth! I'm glad I don't really care for them.

Mostly bacon and eggs and beef (steak or minced). Seafood and cheese occasionally. Anything that is from animals. I stopped eating plant sourced food 10 months ago and my weight now is the same as then, although there has been some fluctuation. I try to only eat when I'm hungry, which generally means just twice a day - usually either breakfast or lunch and almost always dinner. And no signs of scurvy...yet.I am not being sarcastic here but curious as to what your daily menu is like. There was a time I ate no carbs, just loads of beef , bison, lamb, butter, chicken with skin etc. I didn't do so well. Packed on the pounds and had high bs but that was years ago and times have changed.
I still can't eat loads of veggies but I have a handful with every meal and have reduced protein as well as eating more fish and poultry. Though I thoroughly enjoy my reds on occasion. Rare please
