anyway todays results are in

HbA1c 6.8% down from 7.4%
LDL 4
HDL 1.1
trig 1.1
total cholesterol 5.6
fasting blood 5.9 (down from 6.7)
weight have lost 6.5 kilos
and BP is down from 140/80 to 120/80

all this without giving up bacon  so total cholesterol to work on, but all in all quite pleased all going in the right direction. No tablets apart from ramipril for BP

Well done, sounds like you've got it all worked out :D I miss bacon!

haha - that's my breakfast sorted for tomorrow :D

Brilliant, I am trying to manage with out taking any medicine. I was also diagnosed in October. I am not getting my numbers down as low as you and have been eating a really low carb diet. Not so much high fat but loads of greens and veg, little dairy. Whats the secret? I have a terrible problem with managing stress. I have noticed stress sky rockets my numbers.
