I wasn't able to listen to the video, but just wondering if this came about.. how would you be able to see/record the data? (sorry if I'm just not reading properly :/)

I'd think the data would be streamed wirelessly to a portable device that would record the data and even activate an insulin pump in real time.

Looks like the data would be streamed to your device and them to your pump. This is a good idea. I found another great one here:
