I've been type 2 for over a decade. For the first time after the results of my eye test I have the start of retinopathy.
I'm terrified.
of everything.
I've done all the so called therapy which was all online and in groups. I've been on ozempic for 2/3 years which has helped me lose 10 kilos, from 34 BMI to 31.
I feel very alone in my decision. I've tried to read this forum but the language is very technical.
I've been in denial I think for many years about my diabetes.
I find it hard to low carb as I'm vegetarian and basically I have to force myself to eat protein. I don't eat much though.
My daughter is very worried about the surgery.
Should I do it?
Will it make me iller?
