Hi I'm type 2 and had complications a few years back that led to the loss of a toe through an infected foot ulcer. The ulcer was caused by a low metatrsal bone causing a pressure point and hard skin. Now I still have an ulcer on my other foot which is proving hard to heal and VERY painful. I was diagnosed as B12 deficient (purely by chance!) and since having my regular B12 injections my neurological pain in my feet has greatly reduced.
However the reason for my post is this.... I've tried all kinds of shoes and insole combinations to ease my pain and offload around my ulcer - no joy. UNTIL NOW.
