Got my monitor

In general, every substance you supply to your body in abundance, your body will try to neutralise to levels it can properly metabolise. So if you had a high carb diet, your body tried its best to get used to a life like that. If you suddenly stop supplying carbs, or supply them in significantly lower amounts, some people experience withdrawal-like symptoms as the body readjusts. That's why some medications should not be quit "just like that".

I experienced the same, but in surges. When my blood sugar made a big dip, I felt like I just wanted to sleep. That has gotten better past the first week, and I usually feel far more awake and alert now than I have in the months before.
