Type 2 Gout?

Morning all,
ive been diagnosed as type 2 from the beginning of February and have been getting to grips with things albeit slowly lol...lost weight change of diet etc...however think ive got gout my big toe is killing me ive a doctors appointment shortly but im totally p***** off is gout a regular complication or im i just unlucky ...moan over lol and thanks for taking the time to read my post

I don't have it myself and have never heard of it as being a complication of diabetes or being related specifically to diabetes before.

I also get gout .. On and off .. Started before the diabetes .. . Stay strong it will pass with time ..... And do see your dr about it .. Feet are funny things with Db

I have or had a similar problem, the Doctor and I thought it was gout but test revealed it was not gout but slight Arthritis in my big toe knuckle area.
like Enclave it's on ad off.
As soon as I feel it getting painful I kind of nip it in the bud with easy treatment. ( bath foot in warm water, dry completely then moisturise followed with one Ibuprofen tablet in my case ) better for you to take doctors advice to help the pain etc;

Sometimes we read to much into things and start to self diagnose which is a great way of self inflicted stress if you know what I mean.
