Govt texts - Coronavirus

Hello
Has anybody else in the UK received texts from the government offering help and advice for those "extremely vulnerable". I have been getting daily texts and at first thought they were scams but having checked out the link it is real. I was diagnosed prediabetic back in January and my only other condition is low level hypertension for which I take 1mg Lacidipine daily, oh and I'm 66 years young!
Surely I don't qualify for the extremely vulnerable category?
Any thoughts?

No texts to me From whom does the text claim to come?
Sounds like you are vulnerable but not in the shielding category. Maybe it is an admin error. I assume you're being sensible like the rest of us!

No texts from the govt to me either. I have seen a lot of mistakes in online media confusing the 2 groups of vulnerable and extremely vulnerable though. Maybe a miss-classification?

Mine are coming from the NHS and tell you what to do to opt out. They have a banner at the bottom. Got my letter yesterday.

Thanks for the replies. The messages come via a mobile number which I find strange. I think for now I'll leave well alone and I may contact my GP surgery to check it out. Of course I'm social distancing - luckily I live out in the country so have plenty of space to spread out. Stay safe everyone

Only had the one basic text from govuk.
I did speak on the phone to a gp from my surgery about 3 weeks ago and did ask whether I should isolate myself, more because I have an autoimmune illness and she suggested I self isolate for 12 weeks
