Have to tell the world my news. I became a grandma, not sure what I want to be known as yet, this morning at 6.55. Little boy, Isaac Oliver weighing in at 8lb.14oz. Wouldn't mind but his mum is not very big. Sorry if I brag but I am over the moon. He was due 8 days ago so we have all been hanging around waiting. Probably won't get to see him till the weekend as they are not close by and with the pressures of work etc.

Congratulations broads, what wonderful news. Hope mum and baby are well.
((((hugs)))) for baby Isaac.
Catherine.

It's worth waiting for.Nothing quite compares ,apart from cuddling your own kids when they were born.A new generation .

I must admit it has given me something else to think about apart from diabetes. I don't worry about it. I am very positive but it does occupy a large part of my mind.

Aw, congratulations.......granny! I love being a grandmother. It makes me feel young again...well until I babysit, then I feel knackered and older than my years. I wouldn't change being a grandma for the world though. Enjoy!

Thanks. Not sure about babysitting as they live 70 mile away around the M25. Not the best of routes to travel.

Sorry just realised that last message looked very negative about babysitting. Believe me if we can we will.

Congratulations broads, that's wonderful news.
My wife and I had an Isaac 5 years ago. They're great.

All the best,

fergus
