Even though being a diabetic brings me down but that doesn't stop me from drawing, going to college to study art and design.

Do things you enjoy most of and you will think that nothing will stop you. I want to get into tattoo work with my art skills, I love making things and I love drawing tattoo sketches. You do what you believe In and you can do it if you put your mind to it.

Also sometimes our work and employment turns out to be related to the second best thing were are good at and we reserve our best for our hobby/pastime.
You have inspired me to look further at these type of wings for kite design (my hobby and passion).
I am also looking at the wings of flying fish for kite designs (google 'pictures of flying fish').
In terms of colours, Nature knows best again - see 'pictures of insect wings' and 'pictures of flatworms'.
Enjoy, and let diabetes take a back seat for a time - the enjoyment and concentration of course may put up the BSLs sometimes but the joy brings them down again.
Keep drawing, creating and, if possible, sometimes instil humour ?!?

Awh thank you so much, that has really touched me I look at Pinterest for my drawings and I find it really helpful for all sorts of drawings.

Marvellous! And having an aim, a dream in life is a wonderful thing to have. Patterns and designs abound in nature, in mathematics, in the stars.
Have you thought also about: cartoons; engraving of things like metals, gems or semiprecious gems; jewellery designs; graphic art; 3d printing etc??

Well I've kind of done deviantart of gaming characters and my favorite Harley Quinn, I haven't done any jewelry art before but I would like to but I don't know which jewel to do.

I have drawn shaggy from Scooby do for my brother and a unicorn for my sister haha I love unicorns

Probably not jewels as such but semi-precious stones and other minerals/stones etc like tiger eye, agate, slate. And time perhaps to try drawing your own characters !!

I like drawing gaming characters because they're not creepy anime characters and anime is s*** pardon my French but I find more detail than just little cartoon characters when you can draw deviantart and it's more interesting

I had a very talented young lady, like you, design a tattoo for me. I had a wee dog that had passed away and my local tattoo shop couldnt do a design from the poor photos I had so I approached the local college art department and the young lady did me a variety of designs that I could pick from. I'm now the proud owner of a tattoo of my wee yorkshire terrier above my heart.

I'm now looking for the same thing for a design of my greyhound that passed away in November.

As for the lady that designed the tattoo she went on to open an online shop and sold items with my dog's image on them. SO he sort of got to places we possibly couldnt have imagined.

Awh that's terrible, me myself don't know what it's like to have lost a dog but I know we don't look at them like animals we look at them like they are human and people they love but as soon as I can train to be a tattoo designer I hope I can do a design.

I may work at Tiger the tattoo place in sale Manchester if you have heard about it I'd be more than happy to do this for you. Keep your chin up and stay happy
