Hi , I'm a diabetic using Lantus and oral medication.I also have hypothyroidism which makes me cold and sluggish at times despite taking medication for it. I was only diagnosed 5 years ago but it seems that i have been diabetic for a lot longer as I suffer from diabetic retinopathy and have had laser treatment over the past two years. I'm a transplanted Englishwoman so feel at home at diabetes uk.
