Hello

I am Sam, I live in London, U.K.

I have been diagnosed as type 2 since 2010. I have struggled to control the bs levels and am just about to go onto Insulin, which is a bit scary, so I thought I would join a forum for information and support.

I currently find my medical issues quite isolating, and due to complications/side effects I am struggling a bit. I have people around me, but no-one who understands. If that makes sense? I also have bipolar disorder, but right now I don't know if my mood swings are attributed to my Diabetes or Bipolar! Probably both.

Hi, Welcome :)

may i ask how you have tried to control you bs levels? have you heard of of reducing your carbs? it can very very effective, if you would like some info have a read of the forum, it comes up a lot, or ask away
