Looking to go to the gym properly this time around , can any give any tips or ideas such as what to eat before hand / and drink. Also was thinking of a protein shake or some sort of muscle gain shake , does any one or recommend anything thanks
 
As a type 1 on insulin you'll need to monitor your bg closely whilst exercising, the following site has some excellent information for type 1's who enjoy sport and keeping fit:
