Extremely annoying. Two days after I got my brand new car it got hit by a football kicked by a teenager. Not sure if he knew what he had done, and I cannot prove it was him, but I have a nice dent in the door that is football shaped. I have the car on a lease agreement, so I have a choice. Claim on insurance and pay excess, have it repaired at my own expense, or leave the annoying dent and lose the £300 bonus I should have at the end of the lease if the car is in good condition.I need to have a rant because I'm cross with myself and the son of a b******* who hit my car, damaged it and drove off! In the last 2 weeks I've managed to reverse into someone's vehicle twice. What an idiot. Both vehicles were parked across their drives and pavement and onto the road in a cul de sac making turning my car a nightmare. The second instance really bugs as I knocked his number plate off his works vehicle but we found the screws and he screwed it back on. I put a knick in the plastic bumper directly above his number plate and he didn't think they'd claim. But they did. I did no damage to my car, luckily. The son of a b**** who hit my car whilst it was parked on a day out scaped all along the side - the whole side, including the bumper at both ends on the passenger side and drove off without leaving details. I now have to pay the excess twice as they are classed as separate incidents so bye bye £200. £100 my fault. Fair enough. I feel bitter when I've fessed up and am honest and some git trashes my car and gets away with it. Think I might have a glass of wine as a consolation prize.
Fingers crossedsorry to hear that @Scandichic but thats 3 now right?
Thank you though no wine as bs too high due to cold! Sitting at 7 so don't want it any higher - normally between 5 and 5.9 at this time of dayExtremely annoying. I am considering leaving it, as I estimate that in the time of the lease there will probably be a few idiot incidents, some possibly my fault. I am trying to take the view that first of all, nobody has been injured, and secondly, as I now have the first bit of damage to my pristine new motor I can relax as any more damage will not lose me more than the £300 I have already lost. It does pee me off every time I look at that door though. As for your s o b motorist who scarpered, karma will get him/her. You also have the benefit of knowing you have higher morals, and only good karma will come your way because of your actions in confessing the damage you did, and putting it right.
Feet up, enjoy wine and be well

Thank you! As you can see I'm feeling rather pathetic today. I know we're not meant to focus on weight but am desperate to lose more. I really shouldn't complain as I've done so well! Just realised. Forgot to take meds! Haven't taken them for 2 days! Remembered on way to work yesterday! This may account for raised bs! And feeling dizzy! am a pea brain!Hope things start to get better soon , really I do , you look after yourself scandichic....thinking of you and sending you a hug (((( )))) x
You would always be at the top of my Christmas card list because you were so supportive when I was a newb and you always make me laugh. I know I hit the 2nd car so it was my fault but the nick was so tiny that I feel peed off. If someone had done that to my car, I wouldn't have bothered! Total git! Bet someone comes along and gives me a telling off now - lol!you confessed?
