Put my set in as usual today before tea, kept getting an occlusion warning didn't have time to change the set before tea so gave insulin by pen just for a quick fix, changed my set after tea and to my horror it looked as though my set never even went in at all and if it did it was by a marginal amount. Surprised me actually that that could happen. Glad that I always followed my dsn's advice of changing a set before food!
