A short (5 mins) presentation from Virta re 1 year outcomes. Covers inflammatory markers, cholesterol and bp.

What I thought was interesting is that Virta are measuring particle size.

And ketones regularly to ensure dietary compliance.. possibly one of the few studies where if people don't stick to their prescribed way of eating they can be "caught out" .... could have something to do with the 83% dietary compliance.

Yes, the beta hydroxybuterate. That should silence those who say food logs cannot be trusted. Good stuff.

I'm sure the Virta program is good but it's also pretty expensive at nearly $5,000 for the first year (unless you're insured).
That little video was interesting, but really for anyone who has some prior knowledge.

The important thing to take away from this imo is the data that nay sayers have oft times called for i.e 'Where is your proof of long term benefit'. After just one year this is hardly long term but it is a start.

As to the cost, I agree but Virta operate in North America and their system differs from ours.
