After seeing a recommendation on here for the website Ketorama, I thought I’d give them a go.
They sell a flour blend- Panda flour, with the claim that you can make pastry.
I was somewhat sceptical, given that it’s a gluten free mix and for me that’s virtually impossible to work with. But delighted to report it actually works!
Texture is obviously slightly different to normal pastry, but flavour wise is very pleasant.
First batch I used to make sausage rolls and today I made chilli beef pasties.
Mini Meat pies are back on the menu just in time for Xmas!!
If you don’t want the faff of making your own pastry, they do offer already made.
