As tonight is Halloween trick and treat night for the children .

I have gone different to the norm with my trick and treats for ALL
of the kids . [Diabetic or not!]

They have either a hello kitty bracelet [girls] or a plastic funky car [boys]
Carrot , apples , fruits all in kiddies bags from morrisons .

I feel this year I should practice what I preach in my actions with regards to Halloween

Anna .

I have planned to not be in. Im dashing home from work, feed the cats then Im going to my dads for tea. Avoiding all Trick or Treaters!!! If any do catch me they will be disappointed as I only really have apples on offer.

Wife fills a wee bucket full of sweets for the kids to dip in, don't think we got any trick or treaters last year :(

Update on this - is NONE of the kiddies grumbled or complained
there was NO sweets ...
Was both pleased and relieved with their reactions .

All were happy with their chosen toy, note pad/pen and carrots, fruit, raisins, dried apricots etc...

Will 'definetely' do this each halloween now :P

Anna .
