Type 1 Hand sanitizer

Hi I was just wondering is it ok to use hand sanitizer to clean your hands before test blood sugars for t1 testing. Tried google for an answer but no joy.

I would try it: wash your hands with soap and water, test, use hand sanitiser, test again and compare the results.
Having seen the mounds of wet wipes in landfill, I try to avoid using them.
... unless dia-wipes are biodegradable?

When not having handled food wiping away the first drop on the back of my other hand and using the second drop is perfectly fine, according to my DN. Suits me well.

The hand wipes will be useful when you are away from home.
