Hand soap

Hi,

Have just took a mid morning reading of 20, but have felt like it could be lower. I remember reading somewhere that certain hand soaps could contain glycerine and other products that could affect a reading.

I’ve narrowed down to the soap I use in my house, and would like to know what alternatives people use, liquid or bar etc?

Thanks
Darion.

I’ve not heard that one before. Surely the soap’s all rinsed off when you rinse your hands.

Warm water only for me, but then I normally only ever use soap on my undercarriage. Otherwise au naturel all over.

You should be rinsing the soap off completely, also I don't know if there's any truth in that myth as I've tested with hand cream, vegetable glycerine and propylene glycol on my hands and never had a reading near as high

I also wash my hands far more than your general person due to suffering with OCD so you can only imagine how many times my hands are being washed at the moment, not once had a rogue reading xx

I think I can remember somebody posting about some soaps affecting their readings. I think they might have been using strawberry soap or something.
