Hangover or flu??

I had a Christmas lunch on Saturday and got really, really drunk. Had a good sleep and just a sore head Sunday. Felt fine yesterday, until I was driving home from work when I started getting pains in my legs. By bedtime, my whole body had aches and pains, I'm wrapped up in fleece jammie's, dressing gown, duvet and blanket and still cold! Had a restless sleep, up coughing. I feel terrible and don't feel like I can move or eat breakfast.

My husband thinks this is a hangover, but I'm not sure it would last this long if it was? Also tested for ketones and have none. X
 
They're ok, between 5 and 7. Didn't eat much of my lunch yesterday and couldn't finish my breakfast this morning, so think that might be why my bg levels have been so good.
 
I've had a few hangovers in my time, but I've never had one that lasted three days. Are you running a temperature?
 
That's what I thought @Chook. I don't have a thermometer so not sure! Feel warm to the touch but my body thinks I'm freezing! :(
 
If I were you I'd take a couple of paracetamol, snuggle up warm and drink plenty (not alcohol!). ;) If you still feel as poorly tomorrow get an appointment with your gp as it definitely won't be a hangover.
 
Same advice as my mum! Rested all day, still feeling lousy but not as bad as this morning. Hoping another good sleep will help x
