Went for an Interim appointment with DN re last lot of Hba1c results, Took her some flowers to say thanks. since Jan at 129 now down to 45. I also asked to have something taken off my records stating I reg have 2 hypos a week (never had any yet) she said I cant take them off but will state you do not have hypos or have had any. Also I can stop doing so many finger pricks, just do the fasting one and then again before your mail meal (evening meal) and 2 hours after forget the other 6 you do (YAY) carry on with the insulin as usual

pleased for you. its very disapointing that hospital notes can't be altered. would be nice if notes were double checked before inserted into record. same up in scotland not allowed to change/remove notes although a suppliment can be inserted. Have found suppliments not often read, appears to me skim read of notes if subject of hypo's is brought up would reiterate you haven't had any especially if you drive.

Yes this is why I wanted it removed really she has put it in her report but you have to look for it
this is Dr's records

I've had hospital notes that were wrong altered, but even though the Consultant wrote asking the GP to correct theirs, they never did, and I gave up after sending a letter asking for them to be corrected under GDPR, and getting no response. You could always try asking consultant to write to gp, or the GDPR route as a friend got their GP notes corrected that way

Thank you but I don't see any one other than DN about my diabetes
