Has any one experienced allergies to humulin kwikpen basal insulin

I was recently swapped over from insuman basal as it was becoming short supply, I thought I was ok, but over the last few weeks I cannot sleep I get hives after I inject it and my dosage is through the roof and this all started happening within about a week of starting humulin
I'm going to see a nurse at my doctors on Thursday to change to another insulin and get some bloods done to rule out anything else but I was wondering has any one else had these problems with insulin before and any one on humulin experiencing the same problems?
