We are told not to leave asking for a prescription unless we absolutely need it and not to leave it untill the last minute.
Therefore I hand in my repet prescription about 2 weeks before I need it in case I can't get to the surgery etc etc
I was dumbfounded when I handed the latest request in to have it returned with a handwritten note to say that all except one item wasn't due until November-18 days away.
There was I thinking I was saving the surgery's time by making one request. Silly me BUT it is another sign of the times. Perhaps they're thinking I will be pushing the daisies up within 2 weeks and not get to use the prescription. None of the items on it willbe changed during that time.

Hi.
All I have had is my thyroxine drug prescription dates noted down and told to make sure I used up the previous 3 months supply before requesting more.
The rest of my prescriptions they havent tooted about !
They could be tightening their belts possibly? with yours SparkJack.
Anna. :D

I use boots repeat prescription service, when i collect each month i just tick what i need next month then all i have to do is pick it up each month. Easy no having to remember to get it n hand it in, they even write down the date for you to collect on a card to keep in your wallet/purse. You should check to see if your local chemist have such a service.

I have had my Thyroxine questioned if I have ordered that a little early, not now though but in the early days. Insulin they are pretty good with ect. They do keep an eye on everything, and quiet rightly so...you might be flogging it on Ebay
