Unfortunately it will only work (if it works) in the 'honeymoon ' period before too many beta cells have been detroyed
It's targetted at:
Newly diagnosed adults with type 1 diabetes
Newly diagnosed children or adolescents with type 1 diabetes
LADA patients
People with a high risk of developing type 1 diabetes

Yes I read that too Phoenix, however it's still encouraging news to those that are newly diagnosed if and when the drug comes available.
