Help....
I don't know what I was thinking ....but I just shot my fast acting nova rapid in m y leg ...and not my slow insulatard .....
What will happen what will mean ...how the smegg do I sort this out

Is there a lag in the insulin getting in -as was about to have breakfast and had both pens out ...
Just put the rapped in wrong place ....having 40grams of carbs to 6 units ...to cover the high of 14.8 when I woke...even thought at 11pm was blooming 7.6 before bed ...smegg

Right will do ...thank you

Nova rapid takes about 15 to 20 minutes to start working and can last up to 5 hours, you will still need to do your slow acting insulin but I would wait a couple of hours, as long as you cover the nova rapid with carbs and test regularly you should be fine.

From the title I think he meant he put his NovoRapid in his leg rather than his abdomen but the dosage was correct. I'm assuming he normally puts NovoRapid in abdomen and Insulatard in his leg. At least that's what I think he meant.

Maybe quicker absorption from your leg if you're more active but I mix and rotate anyway between thighs and abdomen.
