On World Diabetes Day we'd like to share the views of you our forum members.

I'll conduct an interview with members of the forum and the best quotes (in my own humble opinion) will go out as a news story.

To take part and have your say - Send me a PM with the following:

  • Your phone number
When would be a convenient time for me to call (I'll do my best to stick to this)
2 or more paragraphs on why you think World Diabetes Day is (or isn't) important

Please send the PM by the end of Tues 9 November.

After reading them, I'll call people back and conduct an interview which will serve as the basis of a news story.

Please note:
If there's a lot of interest, I may only have time to respond to a select few so please don't be too disappointed if you don't get a reply. I shall endeavour to read all submissions.

Please only send a PM if you are based, and able to take a call, in the United Kingdom.

Many thanks
Benedict

Just a quick bump

If you have any opinion at all on WDD please do let me know :)

Feel free to add opinions to the thread here too.

-and I should be able to reply to anyone who does send a PM

I think that there is very little awareness of it in the UK and therefore not much enthusiasm :(
For anyone who wants to find out more about it.

(and can I be cheeky and add to your post and ask anyone who hasn't already looked at the Big Blue Test Video mentioned in the sticky at the top of this page, PLEASE DO SO, 100,000 views and Roche will donate $75,000 of insulin to children that need it...and after you've watched, it why not say so, no response seems to indicate no interest :( )
