HbA1C Fasting Results Today

I am pleased with my results today.because I tested high when I had my hip replacement three weeks ago.
HbA1C 46 and LDL 2.
Gone down from 56 in June and LDL gone down from 2.5.
I am on 1x500 Metformin.
I am on the LGHF way of eating,perhaps had more fruit than I should,but think I need the vitamins.
I have lost a stone and a half,a bit skinny at 5ft 6ins and 9 stone.
On the down side I have been told I dont need to test again,and my strips have been cancelled so I will have to buy them.
I ask how can you keep control if you dont test? next test in April.
Thank you all you lovely people for helping me,I couldnt have done it without you.

Shame about the discontinuation of test strips.

I hope your hip is improving and that you are feeling well. As long as you are happy with your weight I wouldn't worry about it. If you continue to lose then people will have suggestions for you.

Congratulations Patricia!! We both have next hbA1c at the same time so let's aim for more progress ; )
Shame about the strips, I've never been offered them- again the opinion being we contended to test! I've just purchased my own then nobody can tell me not to test (code free like the majority of us here as they are the cheapest)
