After struggling for years with my diabetes for a long time I made the decision to apply for an insulin pump, In 2017 I spoke to my consultant and he wanted me to try tresiba for 3 months and to do another Daren course which I did which didn’t work was still having a lot of high and lows blood levels, so in August of last year I finally got the pump and I got the accu chek insight and really is the best decision I’ve ever done. From last August my hba1c result was 11.4 % to now it is 7.3%. The pump is hard work when starting out glad to see my hard work has paid off.
