Hba1c levels and weight loss

Hello, had a prediabetes hba1c result of 45 mm in February.Due to have follow up blood test next week. Have lost 2 and a half stones since Feb. Still more to lose. Can you tell me your experiences of how losing weight and doing more exercise affected your hba1c levels.
 
Losing weight will help (reduction in visceral fat), as will exercise, especially resistance training, as muscles use the glucose for energy. The absolute imperative, however is to include a change in your lifestyle diet . Cut the carbs ( incl rice, pasta, bread, potatoes), cut processed food, sensible protein with each of three meals and lots of good fat (avocado, extra virgin olive oil, seeds, nuts, eggs, cheese etc).

The three in combination provide a much better chance of your HbA1C and Lipid panel demonstrably improving in 3-4 months.
