HbA1c prediabetic level

Hi - I have just received my latest result from the GP - it is the same as last time at 6.4%. However they are saying the threshold is now 5.9% so I need to go in, I'm sure they used 6.5% as the diabetic threshold last time I went. Anyone else had this?

Non-diabetic is 5.9% and below, pre-diabetic is 6.0-6.4%, and diabetic is 6.5% and above. So at 6.4% you would be in the pre-diabetic range.
