HBA1C Results

Just been to our first diabetic clinic and was told my partners results were 53. From reading I don't think is too bad - obviously I know it is bad but not life threatening. Am I right?

It isn't drastic and a lot lower than most people on here had at diagnosis. Mine was 53.
It will only become life threatening if he fails to control it as it will just go up and up.
He can get that down to below diabetic levels with a low carb diet.
