I think you will struggle to get a useful answer, we get regular hba1c tests done as part of our care, why would we pay for one. Even if someone did, how would they know if it was reliable or not, we have no idea if the ones we get for free are.

Even so there are members of the forum who have used private testing and home tests on occasion though I have no idea how reliable they are because I personally have not used one. sometimes doctors may not agree that symptoms patients are reporting are indicative of diabetes and therefore will not offer a test but this a rare occurrence.
So I would suggest if you think you need one ask your GP.
