Hba1c test

Had another hba1c test .....results same ad last time 6.5 my GP suggested that I should not go any lower or indeed higher......(no I don't test) best not to discuss that subject....I had hoped to go a bit lower .......but GP thinks it's not a good idea.....nealy one year since my first test it was 19 then.....so I have worked hard....
Any advise welcome....thank you Kat x
 
My DSN would be happy for my Hba1c to be around 7. At last check it was 6.3ish. I have told her that Im aiming to get mine closer to 5.5 which would be a non diabetics. She agrees with me that I prob wont get it much lower than it is until I manage to start losing weight again. But she seems supportive. But I would like to be a close to non diabetic as I can cos Im only 34!
 
Yes it's hard....going below to get in the 5',s how is it done ????? Maybe not everyone can I dont have the experience to know ...... Will keep trying....best wishes Kat I am way over 34 though.....that I do know!!!!!!
 
Not had 2nd hba1c yet but that is what I am predicting given my bg tests . I am ultra low carb eg usually under 10 or 15 grams pre day . However I did have my first slip the other night and In the last hour iv fallen off the wagon compleatly . But tomorow is another day. :evil:
