I have received a report from my surgery following a recent blood test. Everything looks fine as I fall into the recommended range for every test that has been carried out. My one concern is that having been diabetic and reversed it 9 months ago my HbA1c is showing at 47. The recommended range given is between 42 and 53 so it does look ok. However, checking on-line the information given suggests my HbA1c should be 42 or lower.

The normal range is up to 42 - but as you are a fully diabetic person your doctor is probably glad to see you out of the 'got diabetes' range.
If you are eating low carb and still seeing that Hba1c, perhaps losing weight and not feeling well then it might be a bit concerning, suspect something other than 'lucky type two' but if you are testing to see that your diet is not pushing your BG levels high, then maybe a bit more exercise, a fraction smaller portions?
