A recent blood test showed my HbA1c level is 85.

I have had Type 2 diabetes for 8 years.
 
Hello William.
So what's your plan, I see you are taking metformin, That doesn't seem to be helping much have you altered your diet at all ?
 
I see that you appear to only be on Metformin, yet say that you had a fasting BG of 4.9 and have had a hypo - which is very strange and hard to reconcile with an HbA1C of 85.
Or has something changed?
