Hi @mack76

I recently joined this site despite having T2 for around 10 years and in denial for most of it! I echo what has already been said and I found the Freshwell project particularly helpful! I’m eating far less carbs and actually enjoying it without feeling deprived.

My HbA1c has been up to 115 at its highest, currently 84 and I’ve had my fair share of anxiety and depression.

I’m still getting my head around everything but am trying to stay under 100g of carbs a day at the moment.

Everyone here is really supportive and full of helpful advice regarding all aspects of diabetes. Don’t be afraid to ask for further help! Good luck!

Thanks I'm hoping I get diabetes nurse to give me a bit more time to turn it around again I've done it before lowest was 48 hba1c diagnosis 2 years ago yes I'm still getting my head round it too
