Hba1c?

Got results of Hba1c its 8%.....I havent got a clue what that means but i have to see Doc next wed & nurse said he will probably start me on meds?
 
It's too high at the moment. NICE guidelines say 7 or under I think, but you should aim for 6.5 or below. With medication, if they give you any, and really looking at your diet, you should see some improvement soon.
