10 mmol/L roughly equates to 7.9% DCCT (62.8 mmol/mol)

I say roughly because they are actually measuring different things. There is a conversion utility at http://www.diabetes.co.uk/hba1c-units-converter.html

I was a lot higher than you but got it down so, don't be too alarmed, just be determined to do something about it.
