Hi all, my blood sugars are out of control. Continue to increase, I take metformin, sitagliptin and recently started forxiga .

I have clinical depression feel completely exhausted. Have no energy body is in a constant ache mode.

It’s so hard to keep a full time job going . I am worried if I go of sick my job may be at risk due to sickness. However I am so drained struggling to get out of bed no energy.

Tried ozempic hba1c has increased plus supply issues meant there were gaps where I was not taking ozempic.

Grateful for any tips

Sometimes life is exhausting! This is a good place for support.
My first question is what your diet looks like.

Unfortunately the medical profession is not clued up about reversing type 2 diabetes. They often give people metformin and let them get on with it with little extra help and then give stronger and stronger medication as things get worse, resulting in insulin.

I found the following video useful after I was diagnosed. It helped me adopt a Low Carb High Fat diet. This helped me lose a lot of weight with little effort, plus it drastically reduced my blood sugars.

Feeling lethargic and drained of energy is a symptom of high blood sugar. This is caused by eating high carb food such as breakfast cereals, bread, rice, potatoes, pasta and fruit such as bananas. There is advice on this site about low carb diets … https://www.diabetes.co.uk/diet/low-carb-diabetes-diet.html and also a lot of low carb advice at https://www.dietdoctor.com/home
