Hbac1 result

That is brilliant news, well done.

I looked up the word "remission" and it says Remission is either the reduction or disappearance of the signs and symptoms of a disease. The term may also be used to refer to the period during which this diminution occurs. A remission may be considered a partial remission or a complete remission.

I'm not trying to put a downer on things, but note that the definition talks about the signs and symptoms and not the cause. You might like to try and get an insulin resistance test just to see if it's in the normal range, maybe a c-peptide test to get the full picture.
