I’d Wait for the 3 months. For one thing, some labs are not testing and rejecting the samples < 3 months. Mine was and some one on another thread mentioned same thing happening
hard to wait, I was the same but you will then get another extra 2 weeks of your good results and so could be even better!
I agree with Andy, although you’ll see in my signature that I had my first two follow up HbA1cs at two month intervals. I just did what the Dr suggested and I was impatient enough to agree! However NICE guidelines say 3 monthly and the labs must be super busy with Covid stuff right now so they could well reject it if sent sooner.
I was always told 3 months for HbA1c at the soonest because the average red blood cell has a 3 month life span. HbA1c is also weighted so that the lowest effect (positive or negative) is your most recent behaviour. Hope that helps a little.
