Three month test results today: started at 57 at diagnosis in January, one month later 53 ( Feb ) and today 47. Don't understand being at this level as blood glucose tests ( 2 or 3 per day ) were given us no higher than 6.9 at it's worst, but usually 5 ish. Believe this 47 figure equates to 7.7 mmol/l. We are obviosuly missing quite a significant spike; could this be at night ?
Wanted to say how useful the forum has been. Targetting 43 Hbac1 for next test.
Hi. An HBa1c of 47mmol equates to 6.5%. If you look on the main page 'Toolbox' you will find a units converter for Blood Sugar level as they you can't just equate the two. This should show you that your readings are largely in line with each other.
