Health Benefits of Specific Micronutrient Combinations in Diabetes

I see huge red flags with this study.

It isn't a study on people taking in those micronutrients, it's a study done on cells from dead rats in a lab. There is no way you can make conclusions on how this product would affect living humans.
And the 'conlusion' bit of the study does just that, basically promising that this will make a very large difference for diabetics of all types.

Then there is the 'introduction' part. Some of the information there is false, if they can't get the basics on different types of diabetes right, what else is wrong?

You might like to read about the Rath Institute. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthias_Rath
It's part of a vitamin selling company.
The researchers all work for this company. Follow the money.

I looked for Dr rath and scams and saw they'd had some issues. The technical side is beyond me but the vitamin C side looked worth investigating. I'm reading his book why animals don't get heart disease and they basically say that vitamins and micro nutrients are the cure for everything.

Hi,

Sorry to sound like “this guy…” seriously not my intention..

I’ve heard of domesticated animals mentioned or reported with heart & even diabetes issues. (Vets treating pets?)
I’ve also heard it’s accepted that laminitis in horses could be a form of type 2, also?

Even wild animals could go into a nutrient deficit for brief periods? (Environmental issues. Causing famine on particular diets.)
But is there any documented proof to conclude with the feral that this is or isn't due to their demise.?
