What are some general health tips that are great to follow? How can I stop giving in to cravings for chocolate and cookies? (That's the only unhealthy stuff I'm addicted to). I always crave a sweet breakfast, so I have cereal or jam on toast. What are some healtheir alternatives? With little sugar?

Try these - they work for me at the minute.

Sweet breakfast:
- Full fat Greek yoghurt with blueberries, rasps or strawberries
- Full fat Greek yoghurt with very small sprinkle of Lizzie's Granola
- If I have my cheese and ham breakfast but it doesn't hit the spot, I cut a crust off my daughter's jam on toast - just a tiny taste, but it doesn't raise my bloods too far

Chocolate and Biscuits
- I break up my one biscuit (into halves or smaller bits) as I miss having a couple of biscuits - feels better- nuts I know!)
- 80% dark chocolate - I can tolerate quite a few small squares to get a choc

I've also developed a taste for more fatty foods (Philly cheese or pate on carrot/pepper/cucumber) It's a nice snack.

Eating Chocolate is one of the most common cravings people experience. In order to curb this craving, as with most, you need to be eating properly at meal times. If you don't have a good breakfast and good lunch then your blood sugar levels will drop in the afternoon and your chocolate craving will kick in.
