Being so high I can barely open my eyes :(
Afternoon everyone

Haven't been on for a while as I've been in hosp. Had a shocking chest infection that took 3 courses of antibiotics and 2 courses of steriods to clear. Getting over that now but I wonder if anyone can help with my ecg results? I have been having what I considered to be palpitations since my little sister died a couple of months ago. These gradually got worse and I noticed my heart was racing at over 145bpm even though I was just laid on the bed reading. Anywho, my levels were going up and up through the day and i started hypoing through the night - I never hypo. I'm rambling now lol will get to the point. The results of the 24 hour ecg show a number of 'normal' faults for example tachycardia, multifocal ectopic beats , ventricular ectopic beats, atrial ectopic beats and low RR variability. The only thing that is worrying me on the results is ST segment depression detected - consider Ischaemia. I am awaiting a cardiology app and I know most of us are not doctors but I am aware we have a couple posting on here every now and again.

Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum. I am exhausted just typing this, not good. Feel as though I have woken up geriatric lately :(

[[[[[[[[hugs-Karen]]]]]]]] sorry to hear you've been in hospital.Quite honestly I think that question is one for your specialist! I'm not even sure a GP could answer that one because it's so specific to your ECG.This is obviously going to worry you until you do see the doctor and I wish you a speedy recuperation and pray that the results are OK when you see the doc.

Thanks Sue. I know its best left to the experts, was just clutching at straws because I 'm stressed and googling it was scaring me!

Will have to wait for my app, sure its fine otherwise i wouldn't be waiting i guess. I just feel really pants at the mo

can't have any coffee , or do any exercise so levels are high and I'm shattered

will stop feeling sorry for myself now

Awww Kareeta/Karen, what a terrible time you have had, you must have been very run down for it to take this long to get rid of a chest infection, maybe this is why your heart was playing up too and it will all settle back to what it should be and your next test results show that there is nothing to worry about.

Please take it easy and spoil yourself a bit, you need that.

Thinking of you.

Big hugs - Karen x

Thankyou Karen

I'm hoping thats the case , I've never had any problems with my heart but one of the factors that killed my little sister was heart disease. Feels so wierd typing about that, I don't even speak about it to be honest.

Fingers crossed anyhow, thanks again
