- Xander dislikes doing as he is told.
My name is Karyn and I live with my Husband and 2 Boys in East Ayrshire, Scotland. My youngest Son, Xander was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes just before his 2nd Birthday. He was on Novorapid and Levemir. He is now 5 years old and starts his Insulin Pump for real (he's on Saline for the weekend) on Monday.
I felt the need to join a Forum to talk to other parents who have children on the pump, as it would be good to get feedback on how the pump is working for them and also some advice, which over the coming weeks I suspect i'll need a lot of.
