Just wanted to introduce myself. I have a son with type 1 diabetes and he is 7 years old. He was only 5 when diagnosed , so i found this forum and thought i would join to get advice and hopefully meet some people in the same position as myself.
 
Hello Betty, and welcome to the forum.

We have a number of parents who regularly pop in as well as some younger members who are type 1s, feel free to jump right in and ask away.

Welcome to the forum, i too have a son, heres 10 now and was diagnosed at the age of 7yrs, this is a great place for support and answers, feel free to ask anything or just to have a good old grip or chat, i for one am here to listen and chat, so feel free to ask away,

thanks guys, i can't believe i have never thought of this before, when i think how hard it was 2 years ago coming to terms with everything, this is the place that i needed. However i'm here now lol. It will be great if i need advice. Thanks again, oh and hopefully i can give out some advice from my experience. :)
